Lesson F2.4: Mission Order, Recovery, and Time
Mission order is a route-planning problem. Combine nearby objectives when the added attachment and alignment risk is small. Split a long route when returning home makes the next launch simpler and more reliable.
The simulator estimates motion and attachment time and stops programs beyond 150 seconds. A real match also spends time on launches, attachment changes, and recovery. Leave margin rather than planning to exactly 150 seconds.
Official hardware activity
Use Mission Training: Creative Problem-Solving to compare route and attachment strategies.
Simulator practice
Activate the yellow target and cross the line in either order. Compare elapsed time and path length, then add a return home.
