Lesson F1.1: Color and Reflected Light
The color sensor can classify colors or report reflected-light intensity. Reflected light is often better for finding the edge of a dark line because the program can compare a number with a tested threshold.
Mount height, room light, surface wear, and sensor angle change the reading. Measure the light and dark surfaces on the real mat, then choose a threshold between those readings.

Simulator practice
Use move until reflected light is below 35%. Run from home and watch the reading fall when the sensor reaches the black line.

Try it in the SPIKE App
Display or record the reflected-light value over white and black areas. Test the chosen threshold three times before using it in a mission route.
