Lesson F1.4: Attachment Motors and Objects
A mission tool can push, lift, pull, or hold an object. Its motor command must match the mechanism's safe range. Telemark models one front arm from 0 degrees open to 90 degrees closed.
Sequence matters. Approach first, close or move the tool, confirm the object is controlled, drive to the destination, and release. On a physical robot, test for stalls and avoid forcing a mechanism against a hard stop.
Official hardware activity
Use Time for an Upgrade to build and evaluate a motorized competition tool.
Simulator practice
Move near the red object, close the attachment above 55 degrees, drive toward the green zone, then open below 12 degrees.

Try it in the SPIKE App
Run the attachment at low speed away from the field. Record its useful open and closed angles, then create named My Blocks for those positions.
